Florida man steals Snoop Dogg bobble head but later has change of heart

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida man stole a pricey piece of memorabilia from a Fort Myers restaurant but later does a one, two, three to the four and brings it back.

The man walked out of the Cantina Laredo in Fort Myers with a Snoop Dogg bobblehead. Surveillance cameras were rolling when he went for a breath mint and then took the bobblehead and walked out the door.

The 43-inch figurine is valued at about $12,000.

Surveillance video also shows the man dining at the restaurant with friends earlier, possibly sipping some gin and juice.

In 2022, a similar bobblehead was stolen from a Circle K in Cape Coral.

The surveillance video circulated, and it did not take long before a crimestopper tip led to the suspect.

The Lee County Sheriff’s office said the Dogg-napper turned himself in.

Deputies said the suspect called the sheriff’s office himself and confessed to the crime.

He was told to drop it off at the station, but instead he returned it to the restaurant by trying to sneak it back in.

He was caught and then arrested.
