VIDEO: Road rage incident leads to shooting between two truckers on Florida highway, deputies say

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A truck driver is facing charges after deputies said he shot at another truck driver on I-75 in Marion County in a road rage incident and it was all caught on camera.

According to Marion County Sheriff’s deputies, Dylan Nissan Belleastin, 43, threw a water bottle at another semi-truck on Sunday.

Deputies said the victim pulled over to confront Belleastin to confront him but decided against it and drove away.

The victim said Belleastin continued to follow him on I-75 in Ocala and fired several shots at him. The victim said he returned fire out of fear for his life.

Belleastin drove to a Love’s Travel Stop at 7791 NW 47th Avenue but after a short time he drove away and continued southbound on I-75.

Deputies said dash camera video helped them identify Belleastin’s semi-truck and it showed him clearly shooting at the victim two separate times.

MCSO deputies and United States Marshal Service agents later located Belleastin in Ocala on Wednesday.

Belleastin was taken to the Marion County Jail and is being held without bond.
