CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida sheriff’s office is having a bit of fun, after a “For Sale” is found on a deputy’s patrol car.

The sign was placed on the windshield of a deputy’s patrol car in Charlotte County over the weekend, according to a post on social media.

In the post, deputies poked fun and said they were:

“Kinda disappointed in the minimal interest in the beautiful vehicle. Despite its high mileage and idling hours, this baby has lots of life left and plenty of stories to tell. This car has been through it all and keeps on going. Sure, the leg room in the back is minimal and the rear seats aren’t all that comfortable, but real friends sit up front anyway!” the post read.

While the deputies said they “got a kick” out of the sign, they asked the public not to mess with patrol vehicles.
