Fort Lauderdale police search for man considered endangered

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who is considered endangered.

Police said Stephen Brown, 72, was last seen Tuesday at his home in the 1400 block of Northwest 20th Street in the Fort Lauderdale.

Since that time, Brown has not been seen or heard from by caretakers, according to police.

Brown suffers from high blood pressure, hearing loss and COPD. Fort Lauderdale police said he takes psychotropic medications and has a history of seizures.

Brown is known to frequent areas in Oakland Park and Wilton Manors, police said.

Brown is described by police as 6 feet tall, weighing 145 pounds with a slim build, brown eyes and gray hair. Police said he was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue shirt and blue denim jeans.
