MIAMI – A 6-year-old girl from Miami who was reported missing on Monday has been found safe, authorities said.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert for Ashley Jade Martinez early Tuesday morning after she was last seen Monday in Little Havana.

The alert said Ashley, who was last seen in the 200 block of Southwest 14th Avenue may be with her grandmother, Lilly Eugenia Hatton, 53.
Miami police said Ashley was found with Hatton in New Jersey.
Detectives believe the grandmother took off with Ashley after getting into an argument with the child's mother.
Police said it's unclear whether Hatton suffers from mental illness and said they do not know whether charges will be filed against her.
Miami police and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are investigating the incident.
