MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The United States Postal Inspection Service has offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two men involved in an attempted robbery of a post office.
The robbery happened about 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Goulds post office on Old Dixie Highway.
Surveillance video released Wednesday shows one man holding the door open while another man with a gun jumps through the package window.
Investigators said the quick-thinking employee closed the second bulletproof glass door before the gunman could get inside.
Both men ran out empty-handed.
Anyone with any information on the identity or location of the men is asked to contact postal inspectors at 877-876-2455.
