Breast Cancer fight: Pink building in Miami Beach Thursday

Fundraisers benefit Susan G. Komen Miami-Fort Lauderdale

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The Fontainebleau Miami Beach is marking Breast Cancer Awareness month starting Thursday, when the building will light up pink with 100 high-powered fixtures.

Susan G. Komen Miami-Fort Lauderdale executive director Cathy McCarthy will be at the "Bleau Goes Pink" evening ceremony to celebrate the partnership with the hotel.

SPA FOR THE CURE: The hotel claims they will donate $10 to Susan G. Komen every time a "Bleau Ocean Luxury" treatment is sold at Lapis Spa during the month of October. The treatments range from $240 to $600. For more information, call the spa at 1-866-750-4772.

DINE FOR THE CURE: Every time a guest orders from the $55 Prix-fixe dinner menu at Hakkasan, Scarpetta, Michael Mina 74 and StripSteak by Michael Mina, during the month of October $5 will be donated to Susan G. Komen. 

SHOP FOR THE CURE: With the purchase of a limited edition $18 pink Lokai bracelet at Morris & Co. the hotel will donate $1 to Susan G. Komen.
