PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Local 10's Jen Herrera has been encouraging viewers to give back to others in the community through random acts of kindness and it seems her co-anchor has been paying attention to her pleas!
Jason Martinez was driving through Pembroke Park near the WPLG Studios Thursday when he spotted a man in a Pink Panther costume holding a sign. He couldn't help but remember his own first job where he had to hold a sign outside in the heat, so he decided to do a good deed.
Jason ran into a local store and bought the man a Gatorade and brought it to him. The Pink Panther was appreciative and gave Jason a quick salute. Hopefully, he'll remember Jason's kind deed and will pass it on to someone he sees.
