Justin Bieber leaves South Beach hideaway

Bieber's private jet fueled up, ready to go Friday night

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – It was sheer pandemonium outside the Orchid House. If only for a few seconds the lives of some fans were complete as Justin Bieber escaped the mob frenzy, leaving behind a sweater for one lucky fan.

No sooner had Bieber disappeared when Local 10's cameras caught him sneaking out the back of the home where he'd been staying on Collins Avenue and 13th Street.

There, too, a crowd of fans had gathered waiting for hours to get a glimpse of the singer.

Bieber's father left ahead of his son. The singer's security detail spent the day playing a game of chess with SUVs coming and going from the home.

Amid the madness, surveillance video from a home showing Bieber and friend racing down Pine Tree Drive has surfaced.

In the video, Miami Beach police are spotted trailing the two sports cars before pulling them over.
