South Florida man faces charges of sexual battery, false imprisonment

WILTON MANORS, Fla. – A South Florida man faces charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment after forcing a woman with whom he was doing drugs to have sex with him, police said.

Keyon Adams, 21, was arrested Tuesday by Wilton Manors police.

According to the arrest report, Adams was smoking crack cocaine and the synthetic drug known as "flakka" with the woman.

The woman told police that Adams demanded payment for smoking his flakka, knowing that she had no money, and then forced her into the bathroom, closing the door behind them.

She said Adams attempted to have sex with her, handing her a condom, and she was in fear of her life because Adams said he would kill her.

Eventually, the woman was able to run out of the bathroom and escape by banging on a window, shattering it, she told police.

Adams was being held at the main Broward County jail on $7,500 bond.
