MCSO deputies said they received a tip from U.S. Homeland Security Investigations that two subjects were going to put a bomb inside Coral Shores High School, located at 89901 Old Hwy, in Tavernier, and shoot an individual with a gun.

Further investigation showed Patterson falsely made the threats and named the two subjects following an unrelated dispute among them, according to Linhardt.

No weapons or suspicious items were found in the school.

No other details were immediately released.
