Dead rodent found in restaurant

Yolys Restaurant shut down after state inspection

MIAMI ā€“ A state inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation found a dead rodent in a Miami restaurant last week.

Yolys Restaurant was shut down after the report. State records show the restaurant was also ordered shut in May 2012 for rodent issues.

"Rodent activity present as evidenced by 24 fresh rodent droppings found In storage room. This storage room houses two reach in freezers, one reach in cooler, rice, beans, flower and single service items. This storage room is located about 15 ft from the kitchen. Both the storage room and the kitchen have doors at the entrances"
