FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Fort Lauderdale bank.
Joseph Manuel Martinez, 48, was arrested without incident early Thursday morning.

The FBI said the Fort Lauderdale man robbed a Sun Trust branch at 1601 S. Federal Highway on Wednesday.
Martinez is facing federal charges. He is expected to make his first appearance in federal court Thursday.
According to the FBI, a tip from the public led Fort Lauderdale police to Martinez.
