Man arrested in wife's murder

Frankie Siew sits behind bars at the Broward County Jail

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise police arrested a man Saturday night for the alleged murder of his wife.

Police say Frankie Siew was arrested for second-degree murder after confessing that he committed the crime after an argument ensued over talks of divorce with his wife Daywhotee Siew.

According to officials, Siew called police around 1 a.m. Saturday morning to say that his wife had "passed out."

When police arrived on the scene of the home at 3391 NW 97th Terrace, the victim's head was smashed on the tile floor. Police say she died from blunt force trauma to the head.

The couple was married for at least 40 years and neighbors mention they kept to themselves.

Some neighbors say they have surveillance video capturing Frankie acting "strangely" overnight.

It is reported that the couple has grown children, one of which lives with them. Neighbors say the son that lives with the couple works an overnight job, and that the incident happened while he was at work.

It is still unclear what the circumstances surrounding the death are.
