Man robs Kendall gas station, liquor store

KENDALL, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station and liquor store in Kendall in consecutive days.

The man robbed a gas station at 14699 SW 56th Street on August 8. Police said the man jumped on the counter and took the cash tray from the clerk.

The next day, he robbed a liquor store at 16281 SW 88th Street. According to police, he told the clerk "Give me the money or I'll shoot you in the head" while pointing a gun at him. The man left with $159.

The man left the liquor store in a mid to late 90s, light silver car. Police believe it may have been a Nissan or Toyota.

Police described the man as being 18 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing 170 to 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweater, tan shorts, black shoes, and dark sunglasses.
