OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – Police say a man who was shot in the face Wednesday during an attempted robbery has died.
The incident happened in the parking lot of a shopping mall, located at 13931 Northwest 27th Avenue in Opa-locka.

Miguel Pilotos, 71, was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where police said he was pronounced dead.
Officials said the shooter got away on a bicycle.
