Man shot, killed in condo parking lot in Lauderhill

Victim involved in some kind of dispute before shooting, police say

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A 23-year-old man was shot and killed early Monday while visiting his parents in Lauderhill, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 1:20 a.m. in the parking lot of a condominium complex at 2922 NW 55th Ave.

A Lauderhill police representative said the victim, Joshua Stephen, was involved in some kind of dispute at the Stonebridge complex when he was shot.

He was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A description of the gunman was not immediately released.
