MIAMI – According to Florida Department of Law Enforcement records, some registered sexual predators and offenders work installing alarms and in jobs that give them access to homes in South Florida.
While manual labor is their most popular option for work, some are fixing air conditioners, cleaning pools, helping families' move, and cutting lawns near children. Some work for courier and delivery services. Unbeknownst to customers, some of the offenders listed on the map below work at hair salons and nail parlors. Some are listed as working at assisted living facilities, doctors' offices and even luxury hotels.

Records show a high number of registered sex offenders working in the area of Roosevelt Gardens in Broward County. Also, a large majority of registered sex offenders in Miami-Dade County claimed they were self-employed.
