Police said the masked duo ordered the cashier and customers to the back of the store, where they were duct taped.

"You know, when I first saw the guy with the gun, my heart just dropped right there," a customer told Local 10 News.

He said the crooks made the manager open the safe and cash registers.

"It took about 20 minutes," he said. "Thank God they didn't execute us."

Police said the duo left with a customer's wallet as well as the safe and cash register from the store. Police have not released the amount of money taken from the Auto Zone.

Detective Robert Rettig said the criminals should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call police.
