MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Miami Beach police have detained four people after finding a long rifle and ammunition on Friday.
Police responded to the area of Collins Avenue and 11th Street after witnesses reported seeing two heavily armed men on a building's rooftop.
Officers set up a perimeter that included Collins and Washington avenues.
"Thankfully, no one was injured, and we're able to now investigate, you know, the legality of that firearm, as well as the ammunition, and what, if any intentions, were to be used with that," Miami Beach Police Deparment spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez said.
