MIAMI – Police have arrested a man who they say shot a homeowner after the victim approached him for urinating near his property.
Gilberto Martinez, 28, is charged with one count of second-degree attempted murder.

Authorities say the victim, Jose Diaz Martinez noticed the suspect in front of his home at 1818 SW Third St. urinating on the sidewalk. When he confronted Martinez an argument ensued, and that's when police say Martinez shot at the victim several times before he ran from the scene.
Diaz Martinez was struck once and collapsed in front of his home.
