Miami-Dade County police announced Friday that Crime Stoppers was offering a reward of up to $3,000 for help on catching Rabbi Joseph Raksin's killer.
Miami-Dade Det. Alvaro Zabaleta said in an e-mail that Crime Stoppers had not "received any additional payments for an increase on the reward."

Raksi was a a 60-year-old Orthodox rabbi from Brooklyn. He was in Miami-Dade visiting relatives. Miami-Dade homicide detectives said he was killed during an attempted robbery.
On August 9th, Raksi was walking to Bais Menachem Chabad, 1005 NE 172nd Terrace, in North Miami Beach. He never made it to to Sabbath services.
A witness told police two man approached Raksi and shot him. Rescue took him to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died.
