Miami-Dade police search for man who may be endangered

MIAMI – The Miami-Dade Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man who may be endangered.

Lazaro Cadiz, 71, was last seen walking away from the assisted living facility where he lives in the 17200 block of Southwest 137th Avenue at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Cadiz is described by police as black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Police said he was last seen wearing a green jacket and black pants.

Anyone with information about Cadiz or his whereabouts is asked to call Detective T. Hodges or any detective of the Miami-Dade Police Department's Special Victims Bureau/Missing Persons Unit at 305-418-7200 or Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
