Mold found on food at swank South Beach hotel

2 restaurants ordered shut at Pembroke Lakes Mall due to rodent activity

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Careful eating the cheese, strawberries, onions and cut tomatoes at The Tides South Beach hotel on Ocean Drive. State inspectors recently noted "mold like" growth on those items in the kitchen of the hotel.

State inspectors also ordered two restaurants in the Pembroke Lakes Mall shut because of rodent activity. Little Toyko, in the same food court, was also ordered shut last month.

Below is a list of the restaurants and  some of their violations. All the places listed were allowed to re-open following ordered clean ups and re-inspections.
