Mosquito spraying resumes in West Broward

Planes will be flying early Thursday morning

PLANTATION, Fla. – Scientists are going mosquito hunting again in parts of Broward County on Thursday.

Mosquito Control planes will spray in the cities of Plantation, Sunrise, Tamarac and Coral Springs from 4 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.

The area includes the Sawgrass Expressway to the north, Broward Boulevard to the south, Nob Hill Road to the east and Flamingo Road to the west.

Residents with breathing difficulties should remain indoors.

The county said recent heavy rains in the area and warm summer temperatures have led to the increase in mosquitoes.
