FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Wilton Manors police said they have arrested a father who took his infant son.
Perry Fletcher and his 6-month-old baby boy were found early Saturday morning in Fort Lauderdale.
"I feel so happy and so wonderful that I got my son back," Latricia Johnson told Local 10.
Johnson said Fletcher took the boy to a cousin's house.
Police said Fletcher left their Wilton Manors home with the boy early Thursday. Police said he has a history of drug use and was traveling on foot with the child.
Johnson was concerned about the safety of her baby, who has asthma and needed medication.
Fletcher was arrested on a neglect charge.
