Motorcyclist fights to survive after being struck, left for dead

Moshe Moll has several broken bones, punctured lung

MIAMI – Moshe Moll, 21, is fighting to survive after he was struck while riding his motorcycle and left for dead on the side of the road.

The crime was caught on a neighbors surveillance camera and Moll's relatives are pleading for help to find the driver.

"This guy just drives off and leaves my son for dead," said the victim's father, Delano Moll. "They're going to get them."

His son remains at Kendall Regional Medical Center after the incident Thursday night off Southwest 44th Street and 112th Avenue.

The 21-year old was blocks away from his home and headed to get gas when police said a Chevrolet Tahoe attempted to make a left turn and hit the biker, sending him flying.

The driver fled the scene and ditched his vehicle at a residence at 4130 Southwest 107th Place nearby. The driver then fled on foot and has yet to be seen.

Moshe Moll's parents said he is heavily sedated and still needs several operations. He has several broken bones and a punctured lung.

The family is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
