Suspect in custody after jumping bike rack at White House

Secret Service moves reporters to secure area during disturbance

WASHINGTON ā€“ A suspect was taken into custody Tuesday after jumping a bicycle rack at the White House, according to the U.S. Secret Service.

Local 10 News White House bureau chief Ross Palombo was on the north lawn of the White House preparing for a live shot when he and other reporters were moved to a secure area.

The Secret Service said the suspect jumped the bike rack along the north fence on Pennsylvania Avenue.
