Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – A Fort Lauderdale Police Officer was involved in a crash in the 1000 block of West Sunrise Boulevard.
The officer was responding to a nearby call when he and a motorcycle collided.

The driver of the motorcycle was not seriously injured. The officer in the marked patrol car was also uninjured.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. It's unclear what caused the two to collide. The road has since reopened.
