MIAMI – Drivers will see construction work being done at the Palmetto Expressway Saturday night, which will result in several closures.
From 10 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, the 826 northbound lanes will be closed at Northwest 25th street.

Additionally, the southbound lanes at Northwest 36th Street will be shut down.
The closures are being done so cranes can lift the huge bridge girders into place over the Palmetto at 25th street.
