Police search for men who opened fire outside Miramar AutoZone

No one injured in shooting

MIRAMAR, Fla. ā€“ Police are looking for three men accused in a shooting at a Miramar AutoZone store.

The shooting happened Sunday at 3190 S. University Drive.

According to police, the victim was at the store to return an item when three men followed him outside.

Police said one of the suspects, who was wearing a black tank top, made a comment about robbing the victim as he was leaving the store.

Police said the men got into a verbal argument when the suspect pulled out a firearm from his waistband and drove off in a late model, dark-colored Jeep Cherokee.

The victim then went back inside the store to tell employees to call police.

According to authorities, the victim went back outside when he saw the Jeep drive back around. They said someone in the rear driver-side of the Jeep rolled down the window and began shooting at the victim.

Police said the victim returned fire with his own gun as the suspects fled south on University Drive.

No one was injured in the shooting.
