Man steals more than $800 worth of electronics

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Police are trying to identify a man who robbed a GameStop in Coral Springs.

The robbery occurred shortly before 1 p.m. Sept. 10 at the GameStop on Wiles Road.

Coral Springs police said the man entered the store, smashed the glass display case with an unknown tool and filled a bag with merchandise.

Police said the thief warned the employee not to do anything "and no one will get hurt." He got away with more than $800 worth of electronics.

The man was captured on surveillance video as he left the store.

Police believe he is responsible for similar thefts at GameStop stores throughout Broward County.
