President Trump expected to spend weekend at Mar-a-Lago

Visit marks president's fifth stay since taking office

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – The Federal Aviation Administration has put into place temporary flight restrictions in West Palm Beach as President Donald Trump prepares to spend a fifth weekend at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Trump is expected to arrive Friday afternoon. Flight restrictions will be lifted on Sunday.

The president has traveled to Palm Beach to host a golf game with Japan's prime minister, and he has hosted a Red Cross ball at the estate.

However, the mansion, worth an estimated $200 million, has also been the backdrop for important executive decisions, such as who should be considered to replace ousted National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn.

With all of the business carried out at  what the president calls his "winter White House," officials at small airports in Palm Beach County claim they are losing money each time Trump visits.

The temporary flight restrictions mean every general-aviation aircraft within a 10-mile radius is grounded during the president's stays.
