Trump nominates Dan Coats

WASHINGTON – President-elect Donald Trump announced his nomination of Dan Coats for Director of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Jan. 5. 

Coats was awaiting referral to the Select Committee on Intelligence

The office has three more key positions: Principal deputy director, general counsel and director of the national counter-terrorism center.
