PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. -

Three South Florida restaurants were ordered shut by the Florida Department of Business and Regulation last week.

Below is a list of the establishments and a few of their violations:

"Dead roaches on premises. 10 in the kitchen on the floor."

"Improper side-by-side separation of raw animal foods and ready-to-eat foods. Raw poultry next to cooked chicken."

"Raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food. Raw poultry held over cooked chicken in the reach in cooler."

"Roach activity present as evidenced by 12 live roaches found in the kitchen. At least 3 of the 12 live roaches were observed in the office, also located in the kitchen. All observed crawling on walls, and floors."

"Certified Food Manager or person in charge lacks knowledge of food borne illnesses and symptoms of illness that would prevent an employee from working with food, clean equipment and utensils, and single-service items."

"Rodent activity present as evidenced by 40 plus fresh rodent droppings found in kitchen area under stove and behind reach in cooler."

"Certified Food Manager or person in charge lacks knowledge of food borne illnesses and symptoms of illness that would prevent an employee from working with food, clean equipment and utensils, and single-service items."

"Rodent activity present as evidenced by 30 fresh rodent droppings found in the kitchen on top of a house hold reach in cooler and dripping down the metal wall panel coming down from the hood system . The droppings are stuck in the grease on that panel. There is a two inch platform behind the hood."

"License is expired and is more than 60 after expiration date."
