His wife was out of town, so John Deam, of Deerfield Beach, took Nicholas on a three-day romantic trip to the Keys, police said.

During the trip, Deam bought her a $13,000 Rolex watch. And a few days later, he bought her a $25,887 2006 Lexus.

But that wasn't enough for Nicholas. She used Deam's "identity to open a credit card account in his name with her as an additional card holder," deputies said.

Nicholas, of Wilton Manors, was charged with grand theft and exploitation of the elderly. Her bond was set at $30,000.

Deputies were looking for more victims and Detective Mitch Gordon was asking anyone with information to call 954-321-4255.
