Safe stolen during burglary at Goodwill store

Surveillance video shows 2 thieves pry safe from floor

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A safe was stolen during a burglary at a Goodwill store in Redland.

Miami-Dade police said the burglary happened overnight at 19800 SW 177th Ave.

Surveillance video at the Goodwill store showed two men use a rock to smash the glass door. Once inside, they used a crowbar to pry the safe from the floor.

Local 10's Mark Jackman reported that the safe had $2,800 inside.

Police said there was also a burglary attempt at a Goodwill store at 6884 SW 40th St., but they haven't said if that incident is connected.
