Second Latin Cafeteria Restaurant shooting victim dies

2 sisters die in Saturday's restaurant shooting

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A second woman died Sunday morning of wounds she received in a shooting at the Latin Cafeteria Restaurant that also claimed the life of her sister, Miami-Dade police said. 

Yenant Guardado, 38, was pronounced dead Sunday after she was wounded in Saturday's shooting. Her sister, Madlin Guardado, 39, was also killed. 

The Guarado sisters were working in the restaurant when Jose Reina, 84, came in and began shooting, police said. 

Reina fled in a Jeep Cherokee and shot himself shortly thereafter, police said. He was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
