An investigation by the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began in July after it was determined that a particular IP address was being used to share child pornography at various hotels, Detective Nicholas Masters wrote in his report.

Detectives traced the IP address to the Saint Maurice Beach Inn and executed a search warrant in room 34. Although the room was empty, detectives found Pitcock's belongings inside, Masters wrote.

When Pitcock arrived, he told investigators that he downloads things from the Internet but deletes the "ugly" items, the report said.

A search of Pitcock's two computers revealed 25 images of child porn, the report said.

BSO spokeswoman Dani Moschella said Pitcock is employed by the Cheatham County School District in Tennessee.

"The Cheatham County School District's top priority is the safety and well-being of its students," a statement from the school district said. "We take allegations of illegal activity very seriously, and we are taking the appropriate steps to ensure our students are protected. We will be cooperating with law enforcement throughout the investigation."

Pitcock remained in the main Broward County jail Wednesday morning on a $130,000 bond.
