SAN ANTONIO – You never know what or who you'll run into during breakfast, and a Texas man has proof of that.
Arturo Ruiz said he bought the tortilla in a package from from a San Antonio supermarket last Tuesday. When he was making breakfast on Tuesday, he was heating up the tortilla and when he flipped it, he saw an image he was sure he'd seen before.
"I thought I was hallucinating, so I showed it to others and everybody claimed (the tortilla) showed Jesus," Ruiz said.
Ruiz said he's down on his luck these days. He's facing eviction and expects his cell phone service to be cut off soon. He's hoping someone will be interested in buying the tortilla from him.
