CARJACKING about 8 a.m. -- A gunman approached a woman who was on her way to take her son to school on West Sunrise Avenue at 15th Street in Fort Lauderdale. He got into her car and ordered her to drive to southbound Interstate 95, where he asked her to get off the car with her son and fled southbound on I-95. Read more >>

DOUBLE SHOOTING about 8:50 a.m. -- The gunman arrived at a parking lot at Riemer Insurance Group, 217 Hallandale Beach Blvd. He shot at a parked red Chevrolet. A man and a woman were in the car. The man ran away and made it to Hallandale Medical Center. The gunman beat up the wounded woman and fled, police said. Rescue took the victims to Memorial Regional Hospital, where the two were pronounced dead. Read more >>
THIRD CARJACKING -- Gunman crashed a blue Chevy Silverado pickup truck northbound on I-95 near Pembroke Road, and abandoned it. He carjacked another car, which he later abandoned near Broward Boulevard. He fled west of I-95. Witnesses described him as a black man who was wearing gray sweats. Read more >>
