A friend of Trayvon Martin expressed his disappointment Saturday after learning George Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder.
"I think that this is crazy, that someone who just commits murder can get off so easily," said Desrick Hudson (pictured, right). "Trayvon was doing nothing but just walking to his house. How could he (Zimmerman) be able to do this and just walk away freely? That's not right."

Hudson said he hoped Martin's family would be okay.
"I'm just hoping that they'll be able to live with this and be able to move on, but at the same time, I feel what they feel because -- it's hard to lose somebody you miss and love dearly," he said.
Tracy Martin, Trayvon's father, tweeted: "Thanks to everyone who are with us and who will be with us si we together can make sure that this doesn't happen again." and "Even though I am broken hearted my faith is unshattered I WILL ALWAYS LOVE MY BABY TRAY."
Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon's mother, tweeted: "Lord during my darkest hour I lean on you. You are all that I have. At the end of the day, GOD is still in control. Thank you all for your prayers and support. I will love you forever Trayvon!!! In the name of Jesus!!!"
