WESTON, Fla. – A truck driver was taken to a hospital after a crash Thursday morning on Interstate 75 in Weston.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one of the truck's tires blew out, causing the driver to lose control and hit the median.

The man was pinned inside the cab for more than half an hour before rescuers were able to free him.
He was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center in stable condition.
Eastbound traffic was closed during the morning rush hour as a result of the crash.
