CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Two men died after a single car crash in Coral Springs Wednesday morning.
Officers say the car was likely speeding when the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. when it crashed at in the 11000 block of Lakeview Drive.
According to police, the dark-colored Mitsubishi was traveling eastbound on Lakeview Drive when it missed the curve, ran off the road and slammed into a tree.
Early morning crews on the scene said the vehicle's front end was touching the rear end.
The area of 11900 Lakeview Drive was blocked off while police investigated. it's believed the driver was speeding.
Police have identified the driver as 22-year-old Jonathan Joseph Lawrence Clarke, of Coral Springs, and the passenger as, 22-year-old Travis Mark Wilson of Lauderhill.
