University of Miami student struck by car in Coral Gables

Student taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center

CORAL GABLES, Fla. ā€“ A University of Miami student was struck by a car Friday afternoon on the Coral Gables campus.

Coral Gables police said the student was trying to cross San Amaro Drive and Albenga Avenue when he was struck. The driver remained at the scene.

The student was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center, but he is expected to recover.
