TAMARAC, Fla. – Surveillance video captured an armed robbery at a Walgreens in Tamarac on Wednesday morning.
The robbery happened at 6401 W. Commercial Boulevard about 6:44 a.m.
In the surveillance video, a heavy-set woman wearing shorts, sneakers, and a large sweatshirt points a gun at the cashier. She hands him a bag and demands the cash from the register.
The woman then leaves in an older-model, white sport utility vehicle. The SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango or Jeep Cherokee, has a roof rack, a sun roof, and the passenger-side brake light is out.
