The "Sausage Castle" gained notoriety for its wild sex parties and people shooting guns off in the front yard of the home.

The Osceola County fire chief said that the home is a total loss and there was only one wall standing when the fire was extinguished.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

In 2012, Osceola County sheriff's deputies arrested reality TV star Michael Andrew Ward, known as Mike Busey, nephew of Gary Busey, after neighbors complained about hundreds of people partying at the St. Cloud home.
