Man in need of brighter smile steals more than $800 worth of Crest whitening strips

BSO tries to identify man who ran out of CVS in Weston clutching stolen strips

WESTON, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are trying to identify a man who stole more than $800 worth of Crest whitening strips from a CVS pharmacy in Weston.

The unidentified shopper stole a dozen boxes of the whitening strips from the store on the Monday after Thanksgiving.

Surveillance video showed an employee trying to stop the man, but he ran out of the store clutching the stolen strips.

Deputies said he got away in a van with Florida license plate EAJ 742.
