KEY WEST, Fla. – An inmate at the Monroe County Detention Center faces an additional charge for committing a lewd act in front of a detention deputy, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Randy Jones, 35, masturbated in front of the deputy just before 4 a.m. Thursday as she was sitting at a desk in one of the facility's inmate dorms, sheriff's spokeswoman Becky Herrin said.

The deputy said she looked up from her desk and saw Jones masturbating in his bunk about 10 feet away from her.
Jones, who was arrested Feb. 2 on charges of driving with a suspended license, battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence, faces a new charge of lewd and lascivious acts in the presence of a corrections facility employee.
