CALGARY, Canada – A scorpion recently fell from the overhead compartment during a United Airlines flight and stung a passenger.
Richard Bell told the Global News Canada that the scorpion stung him after he removed it from his hair, dropped it on the tray in front of him and tried to pick it up again.
Bell said another passenger killed it. The Sunday flight was from Houston to Calgary. United Airlines was reportedly investigating the incident.
The scorpion did not have a venomous sting and Bell didn't require medical attention.
